17 East Main

While studying office design at RIT, Jenna was tasked with designing a multistory office building. Her concept was inspired by the combination of the building’s rich history along with the pivotal role the city of Rochester played during the American Industrial Revolution. Honoring the past and being connected with the present, 17 East Main Street will merge the aesthetic of the First Industrial Revolution with the modern tech bound Fourth Industrial Revolution. Merging traditional with modern will help soften the line between traditional and modern to create a healthy, productive, collaborative hybrid workspace for the new industrial that cate to the modern post-pandemic workforce.

The 2nd floor of the building will serve as a business incubation and support center for entrepreneur and local business owners.

The 3rd floor of the building is a single floor leasable office space.

The 4th and 5th floor were combined to create one large and open leasable office space.

The 6th floor will serve as a cafe and outdoor space for both the occupants of the building to enjoy as well as the public.
