The Park Theater in Avon, New York is a cherished historical

building located at the center of town. The goal of this revitalization

project is to bring this tight-knit community even closer by creating

a more urban feel to the quaint small town.

The new design for the theater will have two commercial

spaces on the ground floor and residential apartments on the

second and third floors. The businesses that will occupy the commercial

spaces are Double Feature and Vintage Candies & Creamery.

Double Feature is a cafe and bakery that serves everything

from artisan bread to cupcakes to brick oven pizzas. The commercial

space will feature an all-season patio in the nice warm summer

months allowing customers can enjoy the beautiful Western New York

weather and in the winter allow customers to enjoy the snowfall.

Vintage Candies & Creamery will transport customers back in

time with their classic candies everyone loved as a child. The shop will

also have ice cream for those hot days of summer or last warm days of

fall.

The second and third floor apartments will have seven

apartments ranging from two to three bedrooms and one to two

bathrooms. Two of the apartments are ADA accessible as well. Each

apartment has a private balcony so tenants can still enjoy the

fresh outside air and sunshine.
