
The Syracuse Hancock International Airport is visited by hundreds of people a day including employees, travelers, transportation drivers, as well as family and friends dropping off or picking up loved ones. With so many visitors and so little food options in the pre-security area of the airport, this new fresh foods vending space will provide visitors with multiple dining options. This vending space will provide hot and healthy meals for visitors as well as an area to enjoy these delicious meals. The design of the pre-security vending machine area expands on the current aesthetic used in the airport. The space will utilize a combination of new and existing materials along with the branding of the airport. The design seeks to create a calm and fresh atmosphere as well as give the space a sense of identity.
